SEO Content Optimizer

What this skill does

seo-content-optimizer is a provider-agnostic Agent Skill for fast, evidence-based SEO, GEO, and AEO work. It helps agents audit live pages, review whole sites, improve article drafts, rewrite landing-page copy, and re-check content after edits — producing concrete deliverables instead of generic SEO commentary.

For each page or draft it can produce top-priority issues, a revised title and meta description, a recommended H1, a 40–60 word answer-first intro, FAQ suggestions, internal-link ideas, schema recommendations, entity and coverage gap notes, media and proof suggestions, and a short recheck summary. Scoring is optional: heuristic scores with evidence coverage, not measurements of rankings or AI citations.

It is calibrated for modern search behavior — AI features, helpful content standards, richer structured data decisions, stronger trust signals, and better answer extraction — and adapts its recommendations by page type: homepage, service page, article, FAQ page, location page, comparison or review page, or tutorial page. The skill is MIT licensed and installable from GitHub.

How to install

Install from GitHub with npx skills (recommended)

npx skills add DesignupADM/SEO-AI-Skills --skill seo-content-optimizer

Install manually in Codex

mkdir -p ~/.codex/skills

Use the skill name as the folder name so discovery and invocation stay clear.

Install with the bundled CLI for any agent

node bin/install.js --agent claude --scope project

Agent profiles: codex, claude, gemini, cursor, and copilot. Use --scope user for global installs and --dry-run to preview. Existing installs require --force.

Install with the npm package

npx seo-ai-skills

Requires the seo-ai-skills package to be published to npm. Optional flags: --force and --target ~/.codex/skills/seo-content-optimizer.
